Ceremonies

The Barn is licensed

for civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies.

Ceremonies

The ceremony can be as personal as you like, with your choice of readings, live music and you may even write your own vows. We can seat 120 guests for your service. These can be a legal civil ceremony, celebrant led, or even a friend or family member.

We have a vareity of options for ceremonies, from indoor to outdoor, registrar to celebrant / friend led, from intimate to extravant!

There will be an additional cost to your venue hire charge.

Due to changes in the law in 2023, it is now possible to conduct an outdoor ceremony in Wales. At Brynich we have a beautiful oak framed pergola in the garden. The Pergola seats up to 120 guests, and while it does not have a solid roof it offers dappled shade on a sunny day and gives you stunning views across the gardens and towards the Brecon Beacons. It is also possible to have an outside ceremony in the main courtyard outside The Barn.

Your civil ceremony will be conducted by the local registrars. You will need to contact them to discuss your wedding. It is really important that you book the registrar at the same time as booking the venue.

The Local Registration office contact details are:
