We LOVE a sparkler photo, here's some of our top tips! ✨ Buy long ones so they last longer for more photo opportunities. ✨ Speak to your photographer about lighting, they will have a preference on when to do the photos depending on the time of year, dusk or darkness are best! ✨ Hand them over unwrapped and ready to go the day before your wedding to your co-ordinator, we will bring these out at the agreed time ready for photos. ✨ Our fire pits are a great way to light the sparklers, but bring some lighters and matches too! ✨ Bring a metal bucket for them to be discarded safely. ✨ Look up some photo inspo, do you want to walk through them like a confetti line, or have your friends and family all around you to create this magical photo. ✨ HAVE FUN! The beautiful beams in the cottages make the perfect setting for your "getting ready" photos. The cottages sleep up to 22 of your guests and are attached to the Barn, so you won't need to go far for your ceremony! ✨

With our beautiful cottages on site, you can get ready with your loved ones in space which feels like "a home away from home"

Our beautiful pergola was built by @hewnwood - who has carefully selected th Oak beams for the middle section to create a beautiful arch for your outdoor ceremony.

We also have a beautiful outdoor ceremony space, with stunning views of Bannau Brycheiniog 🤩

The Ceremony - Have you thought about any reserved seating? The Barn can be tailored to your ceremony numbers. 🌟

The Ceremony - The Barn is licensed for civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. The ceremony can be as personal as you like, with your choice of readings, live music and you may even write your own vows. These can be a legal civil ceremony, celebrant led, or even a friend or family member. 🌻

The Ceremony - as we are a dry hire venue, you can decorate the barn completely to suit your style. We can reccommend some amazing venue decorators, get in touch for more details!

The Confetti Shot - We always try to make the confetti shot flow into your drinks reception. Our beatiful doors allow the photo to be taken either side of the barn, and your post ceremony drinks will be waiting for you at the end of the "aisle" 🥂

The Confetti Shot - We also have a "wet weather" option under our front lean to, so you can still get a beautiful confetti photo without the drizzle getting in the way. ❤️

The confetti photo. After your ceremony, we invite you to spend a few minutes together as a newly married couple on our mezzanine, whilst we hand out confetti and guide your guests to stand in two lines ready for you to walk through. ❤️

Being a pet friendly venue also means your furry loved ones can be a part of your day! They can enjoy the grounds with your guests during your drinks reception. 🥂🐾

We have a vast choice of post ceremony drinks available, and these are always tailored to you. We provide individual quotes for each couple depending on what they would like, our most popular drinks are beer bottles in the ice bath, sparkling wine served in flutes, or cocktails served from kilner jars. We recommended offering a non-alcoholic option too. Our staff are on hand to pour and serve your post ceremony drinks to your guests. 🍾

Your drinks reception can be enjoyed in our front courtyard, on the back lawns, or from 2025 you will be able to hire our new space, "The Grain Shed" for your room turnaround. Our bar will also be open during this time for your guests to purchase their own drinks. The bar is cash and card. 🥂

Speeches: Who should do one? The traditional order for wedding speeches starts with the father of the bride, then the groom, with the best man offering a light-hearted conclusion. Today, weddings look a bit different to the traditional set up, so with that in mind, it's honestly up to you.

Speeches. When is the perfect time for your speeches? Again, this is completely up to you. Most caterer's will have a preference on when you do your speeches so it's worth discussing with them. We also find most people like to do them before eating so their nerves have settled by the time food arrives. 🎤

Speeches. Everyone asks us which order they should be in. There is no right or wrong order, most people have their most confident speaker go first, followed by the most nervous speaker, but you make the final decision on the order of your speeches. 🎤

The Wedding Breakfast. A time to enjoy quality food with friends and family. We have a vareity of table layouts for the Barn and can seat up to 80 guests.

The cake cut - a fun, yet intimate moment for the newlywed's! We love the flow of cutting your cake just before your first dance, we can help you to co-ordinate this. 🍰

We can display your cake for the duration of your meal, or we can bring it out ready for your cake cut. Just have a chat with your co-ordinator for the options. 🍰

Happy Earth Day! 🌿 At Brynich we try to minimise our impact on the environment: ⚡️ We believe in using power and water sensibly, and we generate at least 30% of our electricity using solar energy. ⭐️ Using less electricity and gas year on year by improving lighting and insulation and by switching to energy efficient appliances. 🐝 Making every effort to manage our land in a way that protects our biodiversity – at the end of 2020 we planted 10,000 trees on the farm to improve habitat for wildlife. We are continuously encouraging local wildlife habitat improvement. We allow our gardens to become wildflower meadows throughout the year. ✅ Having a realistic environmental policy and sticking to it! 🌎 Trying to use local suppliers for products in both the Barn and cottages for everything. This also helps us in supporting other small businesses. ♻️ We use refillable cleaning products, and recycle everything we can! 🌸 We only allow biodegradable confetti and discourage the use of balloons. 🫛 We have allotments on site which are used by local gardeners free of charge, to encourage growing vegetables and sustainable food. We take our responsibility to protect the environment seriously and include this in everything we do.

21 years ago today was the start of the Barn at Brynich. Starting life as a restaurant and children’s play centre, we’ve come a long way but are proud to be a small family business, with amazing staff some of whom who have stuck with us for the whole time.
